About Our Club
Welcome to Jissen Ryu Karate. We are a practical Karate club based in Darvel, East Ayrshire. People of all abilities from beginner onwards are welcome to train at our club. We start kids classes from age five.

The main aim of our club is the study of the practical application of Karate and its kata. This helps develop good personal safety skills as well as improving fitness and personal discipline.

Self-defense requires discipline, both mentally and physically. Our training develops focus, consistency, and self-control, essential traits for staying composed in any situation.
